Blogmas: Day Three

Third day of December and by now you should have Christmas spirit! Decorating your room is an easy way to celebrate the holiday! Here are some easy ideas to will make your room look more festive.

BANNER
If you have construction paper, glue, hole punch, ribbon and some tape this DIY is very simple. All you have to do is cut equal sized prices of construction paper, cut out the letters of the word/phrase, glue it, punch the holes, weave through ribbon and done!

CHRISTMAS TREE
This is not the simplistic thing to make at first but once you get the hang of it it's really easy. All you really need is paper and siccors. Click the link on a tutorial of how to do this: http://krokotak.com/2013/11/fold-a-fir-tree/

CANDLES
Although these are not technically a decoration, the packaging on most holiday candles is festive. Two candles that I have my room smelling of Christmas and wonderful things are Pepermint bark and Gingerbread. These two candles smell amazing!

GARLAND
Making your own festive decorations is fun and this one particularly interesting because you get to be creative. Using some Command hooks, I hung up a garland that I made with some ornaments that I had leftover from the tree. I used home made ornaments and glittery ones from the store. It's fun to mix and match and see how it turns out.

Hope you decorate your room to get in the Christmas spirit! 22 more days to go!
