During this lovely holiday break I have still been applying to colleges. On most applications schools will ask short response questions to get a sense of what kind of student you are. One of the schools I applied to asked me a question that took me by surprise. Not because it was challenging or confusing but the level of depth that the answer could hold, was astounding to me (also the fact that they only gave me a maximum of 200 words). "If you were to write the story of your life until now, what would you title it and why?" ​My Secret Life ​would be the title of my life up until now. As a person I feel that I am very bubbly and energetic, friendly and open-minded. I am always eager to learn new things and explore different places but as a person I also tend to hide some things I feel ashamed of or too embarrassed to talk about. I don’t think I’ve fully explained why I started this blog. I love to write and I love fashion with my two passions combined I found the perfect career for me, to be a fashion journalist! This career has all the elements that I live for. I even remember how I got started on this journey…. Now when I was little people always asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said things like a doctor or a teacher, but I was just saying things that I’ve heard I didn’t exactly find my niche. When I was I had a little (okay HUGE) obsession with Bratz dolls & movies. The re-occurring theme of “a passion for fashion” inspired me! I just couldn’t stop thinking of all the possibilities that came out of fashion. One time in 3 rd grade I remember I was bored in class and started drawing out fits on paper, I cut them out and gave them to my friends as a mock of my fashion line. Later other kids told me they wanted some to and I cut some more out and “sold” my line after school. This...

So if you read this blog ( I really appreciate it by the way) you would have noticed that I haven't been posting everyday like I usually do. It's been very hard to post everyday and now that school is starting up again it's going to be even harder. So I'm making a commitment to post at least three times a week. With this schedule I will be able to provide good content with good photos. Also in the next coming weeks I will be posting more back-to-school posts. It's the end of July and you know what that means? Just a few more weeks until school starts! I just wanted to write a little paragraph to get you motivated for the new school year! Now one thing that really helps me is to go back to school shopping. I usually start with the supplies first, I like the deals that the stores have and the nicely decorated notebooks. I'm a total nerd when it comes to school supplies. I also love back to school clothes shopping! Usually I clean out my closet and make room for new clothes. I've recently been loving editing my apps for Instagram, whether it's putting on a filter or adding a cool font or sticker. Three apps that I love using are Photo Grid, Pic Collage and Pic Lab. I love using photo grid because of it's filters. This app has many to choose from & in the single collage feature it instantly squares your photos! My favorite filter is Sunshine, it brightens up your picture and gives it a professional look Pic Collage has a lot of backgrounds to choose from and it has a lot of fonts for when you want to write something on you pictures! One thing I love about this app is that it has a focus feature. This feature lets you isolate a part of the picture that you really want to capture. Pic lab has a load of cool backgrounds for pictures and a bunch of unique features like texture & shape. This app also has a bunch of unique filters that I love using.
